Our story is about those who were born to live in the wild. The main character is a
bear named Ursa and her world. As employees of the Altai Nature Reserve, we
have been collecting material on the shores of Lake Teletskoye during our daily
work for many years, and over time, the taiga has ceased to be just a collection of
different species that need to be counted and protected. Instead, it has begun to tell
its own stories, sometimes touching, sometimes brutal, but always honest.

Tatiana Klimenko (Russia)
Since 2018, Tatiana Klimenko has been working at the Altai Nature Reserve as a
specialist in the environmental education department, but she connected her life with
the reserve even earlier, when for several years she volunteered to help clean the underwater area of Lake Teletskoye. Thanks to her professional skills as a
photographer and videographer (including underwater), she has created the thematic
design of the visitor centre in the village of Yailyu, numerous photo exhibitions, and
the organisation's website and social media pages are almost daily updated with
photos and videos about the reserve. She has also shot several documentary films
about the wild nature and underwater world of the reserve, handling both the editing
and the filming (surface, underwater, and aerial footage) herself. Her personal
interests include painting, underwater photography, and astrophotography.
