Moscow Planetarium Russia, 2026 / 34 min. Director Oleg Gavrilin
It seems to us that they have always been there—the stars—majestic and devastating. Their ancient history is a series of metamorphoses. From birth to death, from catastrophe to transformation. Our reality is an echo of their lives. This film tells the story of the stars: from the very first star to the stars whose light we now observe in the sky. We will learn how stars are born, how they change throughout their lives, and how they die. We will see magnificent, calm giants and turbulent red dwarfs. We will fly above the surface of the Sun and fly alongside a solar prominence. We will peer into the previously unknown depths of the stars, into their hearts, filled with chemical elements and light.
