The competition program of the 24th Baikal International Film Festival "People and Environment" includes 29 films

The 24th Baikal International Film Festival "People and Environment" named after V.G. Rasputin will be held in Irkutsk from September 22 to September 30, 2025. The competition program will traditionally feature documentaries, popular science, animation, feature films, and full - dome films. Applications were accepted from February 10 to April 20. 237 movies from 39 countries took part in the competitive selection. According to Elena Utrobina, program director of the "People and Environment" Film Festival and Deputy director of the Irkutsk Regional Film Fund, the shortlist of the competition includes 29 films that, according to the organizers, reflect the most complex and important relationships between humans and the world around them.
