Yakutia. An elderly man named Khaby and two of his henchmen must deliver a young woman named Kiluk, a bride for an old prince, to their master. Taken from her parents' yurt for a generous dowry. Kiluk longs to return home, but Khaby is stern and unforgiving. Only the young man named Nyukus tries to ease the bride's fate. As they travel, feelings begin to grow between them. Along the long and arduous journey, Khaby senses a growing threat. Nyukus is willing to take extreme measures for the sake of Kiluk, but fate brings them to a long-abandoned booth that still holds the secret of Khaby.
