VLADIMIR MARIN (Russia)
Director, screenwriter, producer. He was born in Moscow. In 1994, he entered theMoscow State University Faculty of Geology. In 2002, he graduated from the VGIK (directing department, workshop of the feature film of the People's Artist of the USSR Vladimir Naumov). In 2004, he began working as a director of photography for scientific research and search and rescue expeditions (with the participation of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations).
As a film director and the director of photography he has managed more than 25sea and land expeditions related to popular science topics.
From 2009 to the present, he has been the head of the Video Studio at the P.P.Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
