In the Ulyanovsk region, in the village of Artyushkino, a visionary farmer RinaldoMallyamov, without tractors, loans and practically without the participation of people, "writes off" farming technologies from nature. His views on agriculture are radically different from the principles of classical crop production and animal husbandry. Areas of soil that were never suitable for agriculture are now teeming with beneficial earthworms, cows are enjoying motherhood for the first time. Our film is about what animals living in the open air eat and how they experience heat and cold, whether it is possible to build a business on permaculture and how it will help to revive the Arctic. Mallyamov is not just a farmer, he is a philosopher, researcher, and experimenter, but his methods seem to his fellow villagers not only controversial and strange, but even unacceptable. The village has been holding a grudge against the farmer for a long time.
