Father Alexander is a 70 years old resigned priest, who lives an ordinary life of a lost pensioner. He once meets an embittered 20 years old deaf Violetta at the pretrial detention centre and recognizes her as the girl he baptized 20 years ago. Father Alexander asks for extended family visits to spend a few days with Violetta and help her.

Georgy Lyalin (Russia) Graduated from the directing department of VGIK (workshop of A. Eshpai and V. Fenchenko) in 2016. Lives and works in Moscow. His film ‘Fool’ won the prize for best director at the KONIK festival, Moscow 2017; the prize-winner of the St. Anna festival 2018. The film ‘Crossroad’ received the ‘Debut-Stalker’ 2021; The Special Jury Prize ‘for poignancy and courage’, the Prize of the Guild of Film Critics and Critics of Russia for his directorial debut at the Window to Europe Festival 2020.
